3.6. Online Marketing Activities
Plugins (Like & Share button)
On our pages plugins of the social network Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated. The Facebook plugins can be recognized by the Facebook logo or the "Like-Button" ("Like") on our site. An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found here.
When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook "Like-Button" while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Facebook profile. As a result, Facebook can assign the visit to our pages to your user account.
We point out that we as the provider of the pages are not aware of the content of the data transmitted and their use by Facebook.
If you do not wish Facebook to visit our pages your Facebook user account please log out of your Facebook user account.
The use of Facebook plugins is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest in the use of this service is to target the users of the website purposefully with advertising.
We use the "conversion pixel" or visitor action pixel of Facebook. By calling this pixel from your browser, Facebook can subsequently determine whether a Facebook ad was successful, e.g. led to an online purchase. For this we receive exclusively statistical data from Facebook without reference to a specific person. So we can track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes.
In particular, if you are logged in to Facebook, we also refer to their privacy information.
Please visit www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads if you wish to revoke your consent to conversion pixels.
