1. Personal and company data

Personal data includes any items of information about your person, your company or material relations to an identified or identifiable individual. This includes information such as your real name, your address, your email address, your telephone number, and further your position and company data such as the company address and company size. Information that is not directly linked to your real identity or company is not personal data.

2. Data privacy when using our software

When registering for a demo account and when using the software, personally identifiable information and company information will be entered and registered. Loopline Systems will register, store and use this data only to ensure the contractual and correct operation of its service, and only if legally permitted. Where Loopline processes data, this will occur by order and by data processing agreement between the customer organization and Loopline Systems. All personally identifiable data will always be held in strict confidence by Loopline Systems, according to all legal data privacy and protection standards and as per data processing agreement with the customer organization. Loopline Systems will never transfer data to third party unless necessary to fulfil contractual obligation or bound by law.
We follow the highest security standards to ensure the safety of our customers’ data. You can request our exhaustive technical and organizational procedures including a list of all third parties we work together anytime at privacy@loopline-systems.com.

 

3. Automatic data collection and processing of the company website

In order to ensure system security and to continuously improve our services, we collect anonymous technical data such as the name of your Internet provider, Internet browser, operating system, screen resolution, information about the website that led you to us, the number and date/s of your visit/s, the average session length, and the websites visited within our portal when you visit our website. This data is stored automatically. The evaluation is made in an anonymized form solely for statistical purposes. Additional personal and company data such as name, email, phone number, position, company name, and company size is never automatically registered and will only be stored if and when you expressly provide us with it.

3.1.  Collection and processing of personal data
The personal data that you provide us with is only used to meet your requests and requirements. We do not pass on your personal data to third parties unless you have expressly given us your prior consent to do so or the transmission is prescribed or permitted by law. Your data will neither be sold to third parties nor marketed in any other way. Data is only transmitted to government institutions and public authorities if it is required by mandatory national law. Our employees and partners are bound by a duty of confidentiality and are obligated to comply with the provisions of data protection laws.

3.2. Cookies and Google Analytics
Loopline Systems uses cookies which enables recognizing you as a user of the website and application while you are visiting, and further in order to store technical data on your computer to allow the correct functioning of the website and application. A cookie is a text file that is stored on your computer and makes it possible to analyze your Portal usage. The only thing stored by means of this cookie is the random session and serial number of your visit. If you do not want cookies to be used, you can block the usage of them in your browser. However by doing so, the full functioning of certain areas of our website and application may be limited. We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics also uses cookies. The information on your Portal usage produced via the cookie is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA where it is stored. However, if the IP anonymization is activated on our Portal, your IP address within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area will first be shortened by Google. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google, under contract with Loopline Systems GmbH as the website operator, will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to prepare reports on website activities, and to perform for Loopline Systems GmbH other services associated with the Portal and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted from your browser via Google Analytics will not be combined with other data of Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies through a particular setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out to you that if you choose to do so, you may not be able to make full use of all of the functions of our Portal. You can also prevent the collection of the data that is generated through the cookie and that relates to your use of our Portal (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Plugins (Like & Share button)
On our pages plugins of the social network Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated. The Facebook plugins can be recognized by the Facebook logo or the "Like-Button" ("Like") on our site. An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found here.

When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook "Like-Button" while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Facebook profile. As a result, Facebook can assign the visit to our pages to your user account. 

We point out that we as the provider of the pages are not aware of the content of the data transmitted and their use by Facebook.

Conversion Pixel
We use the "conversion pixel" or visitor action pixel of Facebook. By calling this pixel from your browser, Facebook can subsequently determine whether a Facebook ad was successful, e.g. led to an online purchase. For this we receive exclusively statistical data from Facebook without reference to a specific person. So we can track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes.
