Managers are not going to find A-players by just conducting a standard interview and looking at resume. It is important for them to evaluate their employees periodically. But who can be an A-player?

A self-motivated employee has the internal drive and motivation to begin and continue tasks with the absence of external stimulus, such as incentives and extra rewards.
